why we travel.
here is another interesting article, along the lines of my last post. the author discusses the fact that travel is about more than just relaxation and "getting away" (for some). Sometimes it's dangerous. But it (almost) always pays off.
kait, i hadn't seen this. it's right on. i love the place in page 1 where he notes that travel forces us to confront "uncertainty." i would wager that uncertainty was the catalyst for so much change in our own lives... thank you for posting this. (and how fun that sri lanka was an example)
